Regulators in Saskatchewan are sounding the alarm about a couple of unregistered crypto-trading platforms.
The province’s Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA) has issued a warning about two crypto platforms that are purportedly soliciting investors to invest in crypto-asset mining: Metocrypto and Sunlightcrypto.
“These entities are not registered in Saskatchewan,” the FCAA said in a release.
The regulator advised investors that have invested with either firm to contact its securities division. It also cautioned that investors should generally avoid unregistered companies and individuals.
